Community Resources

Operation Share

Operation Share is a program which allows our customers to donate $1 or more each month to a special fund. Operation Share provides emergency energy needs to elderly, disabled, or sick people with little or no income who are experiencing financial hardships. This fund is administered by the Community Action Agency. All contributions are tax deductible. To start your Operation Share contribution, call (256) 734-2343.

Operation Round-Up

Operation Round Up is a community-driven program created through the partnership of Cullman Power Board and Cullman Electric Cooperative. By voluntarily rounding up their monthly utility bills, participating customers help fund grants for local educators, providing tools and resources that directly benefit students in classrooms across the City of Cullman. Since its start in 1993, Operation Round Up has awarded more than $6 million to support teachers and enhance student learning.

Whether you’re interested in applying for a grant or simply want to learn more about how Operation Round Up works, you can find detailed information here.
